What does it look like?
Actually, it's rather pretty and very family friendly. The fantastic weather has certainly helped us all settle in.
Here is a picture of Banbury Town Hall (click to view it better). Banbury is apparently famous for two things, the Banbury Cross (with associated nursey rhyme), and the Banbury Cake."width:
The nursery rhyme goes something like 'Ride a Cock Horse to Banbury Cross to see a fine lady upon a white horse.. yada yada'. Apparently my mum and grandfather used to recite it to me, but honestly I don't remember a damn thing.
Banbury Cake is a scone-like concotion full of fruit which my wife says is quite decent. Strangely enough, one of the town's newspapers is named the 'Banbury Cake'.
